Brilliant

I was recently on a Magical Sicily Tour and Davide was our guide and Marco was the driver.

They were both brilliant and make a great team. Very accommodating and going above and beyond the call of duty as we had a passenger who needed to go to hospital. we were bought flowers for womens' day - mimosas and nothing was too much trouble for either of them.

They are a credit to your company and as a world traveller the best guides and drivers I have ever had the experience of spending time with.

The whole trip was a real pleasure and they should be recognised for their contribution by your company for sending guests home after a full on holiday really singing their praises as this trip was a full on experience.

Superb

Dear Sir/Madam,

We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed the 'Magical Sicily Tour' completed last Saturday 27 February. The itinerary was full, giving us the chance to see so many of the island's magnificent attractions. We had superb February weather, but our enjoyment was increased by the Imperatore Travel staff. Davide, a graduate archaeologist, wore his expertise lightly, giving us enough information without swamping us. He took great care of us and was as enthusiastic as he was knowledgeable, making him a superb guide. He was a fine communicator and though our party was large at 44, the 'whisper' system he used easily let us listen to him in comfort. Marco, our perfectly punctual driver, gave us no anxious moments, negotiating Etna's hairpins as safely and smoothlly as he did Palermo's traffic. They both contributed hugelly to our enjoyment and we thank them for that. Accommodation was good in all three hotels (we have got used to over-firm Italian beds) and food and wine ranged from decent to very good - lunches in restaurants were generally of a very high standard and they supplied some fine Nero d'Avola and Grillo wines.

No doubt you will get at least one grumpy report. Please ignore it, most of the friendly and supportive group found the complaining couple very tedious and unfair.

Thanks again, now we look forward to our Ischia stay with you in May,

Yours faithfully,

(David) Huw and Judy Jones

Well organised

I have just returned from our week long tour of Sicily and wanted to let you know how pleased I was.

The tour was well organised, the hotels were in good locations and comfortable. The full board package was excellent value and the local tour company guide, Davide, was excellent. He had an enthusiastic attitude towards his work and a very good archaeological knowledge of the site's.

All in all this was a really enjoyable, good value for money tour.

Caroline Lacey.
